Hello??!! Is anyone out there? It has been such a long time. Well it has been about 7 months since I have tended to my blog-that is almost pathetic. I think I actually forgot about it for a while. I don't know how that could have happened-I have not at all been busy with two children who are now chasing (some of them crawling) each other everywhere. And, I have certainly not been having any fun in the sun and enjoying the company of friends and family. If you believe any of that!...
These past months have gone by soooo fast-I think I notice time going by even faster now with two little ones! I am so thankful that these months have been filled with such good things. Some sad stories, but mostly rich blessings from God!
I plan- I repeat...I plan on keeping this thing updated more frequently than every 7 months at least! Hope all has been well with all of you!

Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to all! We have been having a wonderful time celebrating the birth of our Savior with our family! I pray each of you take time to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas this year. We have been so blessed this year of 2009-most significantly with the precious gift of our new daughter! God has given us far beyond anything we could have imagined. We have an amazing family and wonderful friends! We are even more grateful for the gift of his son Jesus!-our Savior! This year has come and gone, but God has remained faithful and unchanging! We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

2 months Today!
Our little Sweet Pea is 2 months today. God has truly blessed our family with this precious little person. She is such a joy. She loves to smile and coo. She is a very calm baby and loves to be held and cuddled, but is content to sit in her bouncy chair so mommy can spend time with Little Mister. She is sleeping well during the night and usually gets up two times, but has only been getting up one time the last couple of nights! Her big brother wakes up every day asking to "find baby sister" or "hold baby sister". We decided the other day we can't even remember what it was like before she was here-it just seems like she's always been here!
Little Mister has been cooped up indoors as I mentioned in a previous post. I felt sorry for him and the sun was out today-for a while anyway...I put Sweet Pea in her Moby wrap with a hat, blanket, and leg warmers and put Little Mister in a hat and jacket and we all took a walk for some family time at the park. I am pretty sure the sun was playing a trick on all of us- either it forgot to turn itself on or else fall is really here! Needless to say...we weren't at the park very long, but Little Mister got out-at least for a while!
Here are a couple of pictures from today!

A story and a prayer
Little Mister is full of life. He is a rambunctious little boy who loves to play, play outside. The poor child has not been able to play outside at all the last couple of days due to rainy weather. We have been inside playing with play-doh, reading books, doing puzzles, watching videos and working on alphabet activity cards. He is so cute. I ask him, "what is this?.." and then he will of course answer. His new thing now is to say,"mommy, what is this?"....and I of course answer...and he gives the response...."Good job mommy!" He did get a special surprise...when the rain did stop the other night, daddy took him out into the wet backyard for a quick game of t-ball!
Sometimes our days inside get long and we run out of things to do...so I decided I would try something my dad did with my sister and I when we were little....introduce the pony..! He has been enjoying using me as his own personal pony. He loves to crawl on top of my back and lead me around the house as if I am all saddled up and roaming in the open fields! Good thing he has an imagination!
Precious Sweet Pea is getting bigger every day. She now smiles and coos often and she can make even the most gloomy rainy day brighter with one little smile!
This weekend we went to visit Big Mister's parents as his mother recently had surgery. We brought them supper and stayed for the entire evening. A touch of medicine for a sick Grandma! Little Mister got to bring a new kitty into the house-something I'm sure Grandma doesn't let just anyone do. He was pretty excited about it. He even gave the poor little fella a ride in his wagon. How sweet! He pulled the kitty in the wagon round and round and then put him back on the carpet, then back to the wagon, then took him on a little walk, then back to the wagon. When Little Mister finally set him down, the poor thing dug his claws into the carpet wondering what fun activity was next! You could almost see hear him begging.."please take me back out into the wild outdoors...this wild indoors thing is for the birds.....not the cats!" HA! We had a lot of fun and hope Grandma is feeling better soon.
Little Mister likes to help daddy pray for our meals. The other day he decided to lead us in prayer before dinner and prayed..."thank you for this day, and for the movie..pray that grandma and grandpa would come soon and thank you for Jim, Aleycia, and Miles...and the library...and this food..in Jesus name....AMEN!" As he prays he keeps his eyes closed and has such a precious focused look on his face. I pray that he would continue to pray so freely to Jesus and that he would grow up to know and love him!

Busy Mama
Well.....I see it has been close to a month since I have made an entry. Wow! Kind of pathetic. My goal was one a week....now maybe one a month?! But, I have been seriously busy..I went from changing a about 4-6 diapers a day to about 34 diapers a day! I will try to get back on track. The summer was busy filled with family activities and travel and now the fall is approaching and things are beginning to settle down-kind of.... New schedules....I am really excited about my fall: I have become a member of the YMCA-hopefully get rid of the baby weight, I am in Exhale-a moms group similar to MOPS, I have joined the Fargo moms club, I am taking a parenting class with Big Mister and we are hopefully going to join a "Growth Group" with our church-sort of like a small group/bible study. We are looking forward to our new activities and hope to make many new friends!
Little Mister has had a fun summer playing at the park and has even made some new friends at the park. We live in a wonderful neighborhood and Little Mister loves his new little neighborhood friend. We just got back from a visit to see "Auntie". We even did a little rummaging while we visited her in her town! How fun! Kind of a random thing to do while on vacation, but still.....very fun!
This weekend we will be visiting family and friends and will have a baby shower in honor of our new Sweet Pea! She has been a blessing and we are truly grateful that God made a precious addition to our family. I am excited to show her off to all of the people who have not yet seen her in person!
I will post pictures soon. I know you probably want to see how both of the kids are growing and changing.
